This is about us
The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) or “University Women’s Club” and its member clubs are committed to high standards of education, participation in all levels of public affairs, and to the improvement of the status of women locally and internationally.
If you are a graduate of an accredited university or college or a woman who supports the goals of CFUW, we want you to join us at our meetings on the third Wednesday of every month from September to June (except in December).
Regular monthly meetings of the Orangeville and District CFUW are held on the third Wednesday of every month (excluding December) in a local area school. These meetings include social time, club business and a guest speaker. Meetings start with refreshments at 7 p.m., and the programme begins at 7:30 p.m.
Our first meeting in September is a Meet & Greet social at which the new executive is introduced and the year’s interest groups are started up. New members are encouraged to attend! Admission is free. We have a fragrance-free policy at out meetings.
Our final meeting of the year, in June, is a potluck hosted by one of our club members. We start and finish each year with a party!
